Industrial Style Bedroom

From baby's room to an Industrial themed teen boy's bedroom!

To make the closet in this room bigger, a re-configuration of the small square hallway outside this room, was done. The new full closet was built and a pocket door added on an adjacent wall to allow entry/exit to the main hallway. The level ceiling was taken out to reveal the one angel cathedral and drywalled. This gave some added height to the room and the ceiling fan now has space to be incorporated.

Bold jewel tone blue color was painted on the walls. An accent of a green color went on the wall length shelf and the little wall space above the it. The inside of the closet was painted an industrial grey. All the moulding was painted a sharp black which really outlines the closets and windows. A spare desk and a small table was painted with 2 colors to look distressed and are used in the room. A new Industrial style bed really made the room come alive.
